Before and..
After! I had been thinking of having a garden for a couple of years and have been to scared. Scared?? Yes, very scared. I hate yardwork, hate it hate it!! My mom encouraged me and volunteered her tiller and I thought what the heck. Thanks mom! I love the garden!! The kids love the garden and have helped now and then. Oh, and thank you hubby for tilling it for me!! He doesn't like yard work or veggies so he did it all for me. My garden includes cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, banana peppers, green peppers, basil, cilantro, broccoli and tomatoes. It is a very small garden as I didn't know what I was getting into. If I can talk the hubby into it I would love a large garden. Not sure if a garden is appropriate landscaping for around the pool(I have a limited area for a garden.) I would love to grow potatoes and onions and have room to stagger the plants so I could have vegetables for longer. So that is my new hobby..

I have future hopes of having a garden some day. I have two large plots already boxed off behind my garage partly within my fence. Until life slows a bit, it won't happen. I told Paul I wanted to at least do strawberries next year and he wants some tomatoes. I promised Kyler pumpkins this year, but it never happened. So, we might start small or in potters and try next year. I'll have to take some gardening tips from you because I know NOTHING! We've never even tried to keep a plant alive in this house...our CAT is lucky to get fed daily!!! =) Your garden is LOVELY! Congrats!
