Vacation 09

I thought I should acknowledge that indeed we did do something this summer. Here is a little bit of our camping trip. We went to Turkey Run State Park, 3 &1/2 hours away- worth the drive. Our camp site was in the woods and I loved it! Chris on the other hand said he didn't realize he is high maintenance but in fact he is. Carter and Cade loved camping, when asked about their favorite part it was the food and trails. Normally food isn't on the highlight list but in this case lots of junk was served and a good time was had by all. The hiking is awesome and I am impressed with the ability of my children to do some of these trails. Cade kept saying he wants to climb a mountain. I however do not think that is a good idea. You see, he should always wear a helmet because some force of nature is always pushing him off of chairs/benches/picnic tables. Our only injury the whole weekend was when he fell off the picnic table(I was at the restroom.) I come back to an unhappy child with a giant goose-egg on his head. So camping was a success- minus the horrific storm we were caught in as we were packing up.
