NOVEMBER 21, 2007--CADE'S 3rd BIRTHDAY!

Here is the big man of the day....... And it's been a pretty great day aside from the constant pouring rain outside. Cade is a lucky boy, he pretty much gets a 2 day celebration. Today is his actual birthday and tomorrow is Thanksgiving/birthday party. Carter was a great helper to make Cade feel special. He helped me tape balloons to the wall for Cade to walk through as he was coming down the stairs this morning. That is my favorite birthday tradition, they never expect it and their face just glows with "I'm something special." Then Cade got to watch Thomas the Train on TV and it was a birthday episode!!! He willingly took a nap after he had slept for 13hours already. Then after Carter got out of preschool we headed to Chuckie Cheese. Spent a good 3 hours and now we are done for the day. Cade was hilarious with the paper crown they gave him at chuckie cheese. He kept it on the whole time, even when some of the rides would shake it down over his eyes. It cracked me up how annoying it was, yet very important.
I think I should spend some time reminiscing about Cades life and birth. uhhhhh...... Ok I think I remember.... umm no, hasn't he always been here?? Has it really only been 3 years????? We had a great birth, glad I had an epidural cause he was huge. Beyond that he was a great baby, he had bad eczema, which he got from me. He was normal for all that crying and pooping and stuff. He was a great sleeper, I don't even remember getting up in the middle of the night. He hit all the milestones at a normal time. Except for talking, I swear he has always been able to talk. That would have made him a pretty creepy baby so I know it's not true, just seems like it. He talks so darn much, hope he keeps its up in the teen years. My son Cade can be summed up by saying major drama king. All the way around good and bad. Everything he does is very enthusiastic laughing or crying always. Goofy goofy child! I am not goofy and neither is Chris, so I hope I don't stifle his humor and fun personality. Cade is a blast. I've been very excited about each one of my children's birthday's. It is very nice with the second one because I don't have any apprehension. I'm having traumatic feelings about Carter's 5th birthday. But this is today and praise God, Cade made it to be 3!!!

Happy Birthday Cade! Chuck E. Cheese is so fun for kids. I still remember going there and jumping the in ball pits and being scared of that purple monster. Summer's b-day is this Sat. and I wanted to take her there but it's over an hour away. Hmm, what to do now?
